Rachel White, MD

Dr. White was born and raised in Scotland, earning her bachelor's degree in neuroscience from the University of Glasgow as valedictorian of her program. She studied medicine at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland, graduating in the top 5% of her class, earning 1st Class Honors. Dr. White went on to train at Yale for her residency in obstetrics and gynecology, where she received multiple awards: she earned the teaching award twice, in recognition of excellence in teaching medical students, the award for Quality and Safety, and the Society for Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology (SASGOG) award, which recognizes "academic accomplishment and interest in achieving excellence as an academic specialist in obstetrics and gynecology." Dr. White joined the Greater New Haven OB/GYN group upon graduation from her residency program at Yale.

Dr. White is a staunch advocate for her patients, and seeks to develop a trusting bond to treat them throughout any stage of their life. When patients recommend their loved ones to her care, Dr. White remarks that these are the proudest moments of her career.
