Dr. Asia Yasmeen Goodwyn Edusa graduated cum laude with a BA in Biological Anthropology from Harvard University, and went on to attend the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.  She completed her OB/GYN residency at Yale where she was elected as one of the Administrative Chief Residents and received the Peter A. Grannum award for her "humanistic approach to medicine and dedication to teaching medical students."

Dr. Edusa is an Attending Physician at Yale-New Haven Hospital and a Clinical Instructor at the Yale University School of Medicine.  She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Dr. Edusa joined Greater New Haven OB/GYN Group in 2005.  She practices general obstetrics and gynecology and has particular interests in adolescent gynecology, cervical disease and colposcopy, and international medicine.

Dr. Edusa is passionate about empowering women to lead healthy lives, celebrate their diversity, and nurture their unique gifts.  She loves gardening and can often be found with a flower in her hair.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her three delightful children and her large extended family.
