N. Dawn Bingham, MD

Natalie (Dawn) Bingham, MD, MPH, FACOG, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, enjoys applying evidence-based medicine to all aspects of OB/GYN care, including family planning initiatives. Dr. Bingham has over 20 years of experience promoting excellence in clinical and surgical OB/GYN care, resident education, and advocacy in both private and academic OB/GYN settings. Her special interests include resident education, departmental and organizational leadership, faculty development, and legislative advocacy.

Dr. Bingham earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, a master's degree in public health from Emory University, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Greenville Hospital System Residency Program. She has extensive experience in teaching medical students and residents, as well as creating protections against legislative interference in medicine and collaborating with lawyers to protect patients, residents, and physicians. In addition to more than 20 years of surgical experience in her field, Dr. Bingham is a certified vaginal natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (vNOTES) gynecologic surgeon.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Bingham serves as an American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) officer and an ACOG legislative McCain fellow and is a public speaker with an extensive publication record, successful lobbying and policy work. Dr. Bingham is married to Dr. Marc Bingham, and they are the parents of four children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling, diving, and beekeeping.
